Oak Grove Teacher request policy - English

The Oak Grove process for student placement includes multiple factors.  At the end of each year, teachers compile class lists for the following year with the goal of creating balanced classes for the best possible outcomes for each student.

Parents are welcome to submit a letter offering input on their child's placement.  However, please understand that these letters do not guarantee placement.  Submitted letters should detail your child's needs and the type of learning environment you feel he/she would benefit from the most.  Requests based on unique custody or family circumstances will be considered.  Please refrain from requesting specific teachers by name.
